Dave Gregg, Purchasing Manager

Dave joined Iowa-Des Moines Supply in 1975 as a warehouse worker but soon was promoted to Warehouse Manager before becoming Purchasing Manager in 1978.

In addition to the day to day purchasing and maintaining over 5,000 items in inventory, Dave’s department is responsible for negotiating with our suppliers and evaluating potential vendors and new products. Dave works closely with our Account Managers in sourcing products to meet the needs of our customers. The Purchasing Department also deals directly with our general contractor customers involving Division 10 specialty products.

Dave attended Grand View University.

Russ Flug, Special Markets Manager

Russ oversees the laundry and dishwashing programs, coffee/tea programs, floor care equipment, and the service staff. Russ supports our Account Managers and customers with his expertise in these Special Markets.

Russ joined Iowa-Des Moines Supply in 2011. Russ previously served as an Institutional Group Territory Manager at UNX, Inc. At UNX, he was responsible for selling, installing, maintaining, and trouble-shooting laundry and dishwashing systems across Iowa and three bordering states. Previously, Russ served as the General Manager of Operations with Crown Cleaners and Reed Cleaners.

Russ is a graduate of Iowa State University. In 2015, Russ successfully completed the 119th Boston Marathon.

William Weidmaier, Chief Executive Officer

Bill purchased Iowa-Des Moines Supply in 1996. Bill previously was the president of The Boyt Company, a domestic manufacturer of high-end luggage, business cases, and gun cases. Bill joined Boyt in 1983 as Vice President-Sales and Marketing. Prior to Boyt, Bill was in sales with Tension Envelope Corporation for ten years. He graduated from Grand View University with an Associate Degree, and Drake University with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Sheila Sinclair, General Manager

Sheila joined Iowa-Des Moines Supply in 2002. As General Manager, Sheila’s responsibilities include financial administration, office management, human resources, and computer network administration.

Sheila previously worked at The Boyt Company and Butler Creek Company as Controller and Network Administrator. Earlier in her career, Sheila owned Sinclair Accounting Services.

Sheila graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. Degree in Accounting.

Todd Weidmaier, President

Todd is responsible for training and supporting the Account Managers and their accounts. Todd also manages several major accounts.  Prior to joining Iowa-Des Moines Supply in 1996, Todd was in a sales/management position with Golden Valley Supply, and a sales position with WESCO Distribution. Todd graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Business Administration.

Doug Tharp, Warehouse Manager

Doug and his staff are responsible for receiving and warehousing of our products.
Doug also schedules the deliveries to our customers. Doug started at Iowa-Des Moines Supply in 2007. He was previously employed as Vice President-Manufacturing at The Boyt Company, overseeing manufacturing of five facilities. Prior to this, he was employed as Operations Manager with Windsor Windows, and Vice President of Operations for Crestline Windows. Doug attended Graceland University majoring in Business Education.
